📝 Ingredients (makes ~8 bars)
For the ice cream base:
- 2 cups (480ml) heavy whipping cream
- 1 can (397g) sweetened condensed milk
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1/2 cup chopped fresh strawberries
- 1–2 tbsp strawberry jam
For the strawberry shortcake crumble:
- 8 Golden Oreos
- 4 Strawberry Oreos (or regular + 1 tbsp strawberry gelatin powder)
- 1 tbsp melted butter
🍴 Steps
- Make the crumble
- Crush both types of Oreos (separately)
- Mix them together with melted butter to form a crumb topping. Set aside.
- Make the base
- Whip heavy cream to stiff peaks.
- In a separate bowl, mix condensed milk, vanilla, strawberries, and jam.
- Gently fold the whipped cream into this mixture.
- Assemble
- Pour into a lined loaf pan.
- Sprinkle the strawberry shortcake crumble generously on top.
- Freeze 6–8 hours or overnight.
- Cut into bars
- Slice into rectangles and enjoy like a real shortcake bar!
